In accordance to The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), all vehicles 3 years old or more past their first registration date are required to have a valid MOT test certificate. An MOT lasts for a year, so this should be renewed on an annual basis. You can find the expiry date of your MOT on your existing MOT test certificate and have your vehicle MOT tested up to 28 days in advance.

In a MOT Test Check our qualified technicians undertakes a thorough check on the relevant components of your vehicle to ensure they meet the legal road requirements, this includes inspections on the registration plate, lights, steering, suspension, wipers, seats, seatbelts, bodywork, emissions, brakes, doors, mirrors and horn.

Typically an MOT can take between 30-45 minutes. We offer a free local pickup & delivery service or you can bring in your vehicle to our workshop and we’ll carry out the MOT while you wait. We have a warm and cosy reception with free Wi-Fi for all customers.

If your vehicle fails the MOT test, the issues causing the failure will need to be resolved. Once resolved, the vehicle can be retested. We offer customers a free retest within 10 days from the original test date.
